The campus grounds erupted in spectacular celebrations as the Mildmay Institute of Health Sciences (MIHS) officially concluded its highly anticipated Interschool Competitions. Organized with great fanfare, the multi-day tournament successfully brought together student-athletes from across the institution’s core academic branches to showcase immense talent, unity, and determination.
The final day saw intense athletic battles, culminating in a historic victory for the School of Allied Health Sciences (SAHS), which emerged as the overall tournament winner. In a grand tradition celebrating community and triumph, the champions were awarded the ultimate grand prize: a live bull. The School of Applied Sciences (SAS), and the School of Nursing and Midwifery (SNM)—were also recognized for their stellar performances, walking away with prestigious trophies and medals.
While track and field events set a high energy level across the opening days, it was the final football matches that captured the full heart of the institute. Packed sidelines of passionate students and clinical mentors cheered on their respective departments. Beyond the medals, the event was a monumental success for building long-lasting peer solidarity outside the demanding clinical lecture rooms.
