At Mildmay Institute of Health Sciences (MIHS), we aim to make the application and tuition fee payment process simple, secure, and convenient. All payments should be made through School Pay using the appropriate applicant or student number.

Applicants are required to pay the applicable application fee before their application can be processed.

How to Pay Your Application Fee

Step 1: Complete Your Online Application

Complete the application process through the MIHS Online Application Portal:

https://eadmission.mihs.ac.ug/

Step 2: Note Your Applicant Number

After completing your application, note your Applicant Number, for example:

MIHS260000

You will need this number when making your payment.

Step 3: Pay Through School Pay

Use School Pay to make your application fee payment using either MTN Mobile Money or Airtel Money.

MTN Mobile Money

1. Dial *165*4*3*1*1#

2. Select Pay Fees (Option 1)

3. Enter your Applicant Number

4. Enter the application fee amount

5. Confirm the application fee amount

6. Press Cancel, then complete the prompted payment screen from your Mobile Money menu. Alternatively, dial *165# and follow the prompts to confirm and enter your PIN.

Airtel Money

1. Dial *185*6*2#

2. Select Pay Fees (Option 1)

3. Enter your Applicant Number

4. Enter the application fee amount

5. Confirm the application fee amount

6. Enter your Mobile Money PIN to complete the transaction.

Important: Do not pay the application fee directly through the bank. Use School Pay and your Applicant Number as instructed above.

After Payment

Once your payment has been successfully processed, your application status on the MIHS Online Application Portal should change from Pending to Paid.

Tuition / School Fees Payment

Continuing and newly admitted students should use their Student Number when paying tuition and other applicable institutional fees.

Before Making Payment

Ensure that you have your Student Number, for example:

M2607010000

Use your Student Number when making your payment through School Pay.

MTN Mobile Money

1. Dial *165*4*3*1*1#

2. Select Pay Fees (Option 1)

3. Enter your Student Number

4. Enter the fees amount

5. Confirm the fees amount

6. Press Cancel, then complete the prompted payment screen from your Mobile Money menu. Alternatively, dial *165# and follow the prompts to confirm and enter your PIN.

Airtel Money

1. Dial *185*6*2#

2. Select Pay Fees (Option 1)

3. Enter your Student Number

4. Enter the fees amount

5. Confirm the fees amount

6. Enter your Mobile Money PIN to complete the transaction.

Important: Do not pay school fees directly through the bank. All payments should be made through School Pay using the correct Student Number.

After Payment

After a successful payment, allow the payment to be processed and reflected on your student portal. Keep your School Pay transaction confirmation/SMS as proof of payment.

Important Payment Guidelines

• Always use the correct Applicant Number or Student Number when making a payment.

• Confirm the amount carefully before completing the transaction.

• Do not share your Mobile Money PIN with anyone.

• Keep your payment confirmation message for your records.

• Do not make payments through unofficial channels.

• If your payment does not reflect after a reasonable period, contact the MIHS Finance/Accounts Office with your payment transaction details.
