When our grandmother organisation comes home, it is always special.
This week, we were deeply honored to host our family from Mildmay UK at Mildmay Uganda.
It was a full and meaningful visit. The UK team visited all our entities, taking time to listen, learn, and explore new areas for support. They shared continued technical support and strengthened our joint advocacy for the people and communities we serve.
A highlight of the visit was their inspiring presentations to our teams and students. Their knowledge, experience, and passion left us encouraged and energised.
In Luganda, Jjaja means Grandmother. That is what Mildmay UK is to us. A legacy that started in 1866 in London and was planted in Uganda in 1998 continues to grow because of this family bond.
We are truly grateful for this visit, for the partnership, and for walking this journey together as one Mildmay family.
