"Zambogo, maanyi!" MIHS  was  honoured to host Buganda's Minister of Local Government, ow'ekitiibwa Joseph Kawuki at the leadership handover of the Nkoba Za Mbogo Students Union. Ow'ek. Kawuki lauded Mildmay for extending HIV/AIDS care and treatment services across hospitals in regions around Uganda. He thanks MIHS for offering students space to be involved in groups that build, give them identity and cohesion. To the students under Za Mbogo, he urged them to be exemplary in everything they do, serve above self and always have esteem.

Mildmay Institute of Health Sciences  held a colorful awards ceremony for Counsellors in Health Systems Strengthening Project at Enro Hotel, Mityana. Addressing the gathering, Chief Administrative Officer Mityana the Chief Guest thanked the graduands for enrolling for the courses and upgrading their skills. He also lauded MIHS for continuing to skill healthcare professionals. Edith Akankwasa, Principal MIHS congratulated the graduands and challenged them to be the change they want in the facilities, communities and the world.
